William Braddock III threatened now Representative Anna Paulina Luna
The Department of Justice (DOJ) unsealed an indictment against the former political rival of Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna, alleging that the suspect, William Robert Braddock III, threatened to stalk and kill two unnamed victims.
In 2021, Representative Luna had alleged in court documents that Braddock “[was] stalking her and [wanted] her dead” during the run-up to the 2022 primary election, successfully receiving a temporary restraining order against him. In this latest indictment, the Justice Department accuses Braddock of threatening to “call up my Russian-Ukrainian hit squad” and make his potential victims disappear.
After making additional threats, Braddock left the U.S. and was found living in the Philippines. He was extradited to the U.S. and attended his first court hearing last week. If found guilty of one criminal count of a true threat to injure another person, he could face a maximum of five years in prison.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For DOJ prosecutors as they seek justice for the threats made to political candidates and politicians.
- For wisdom for Attorney General Merrick Garland as he heads the Justice Department.
